closest place to ride from laguna beach

i have a friend that lives in laguna beach, CA. when i go up there to visit i want take my skis to ride some surf. whats the closest beach to laguna beach that allows skis?

Oceanside- about 30 minutes to the south. Post when your comming into town and we'll ride

Should of saw my first time at oceanside. I got stuck on the beach and could not get out of the white water. I was so tired.
