CNC plasma table

Anyone have a CNC plasma table? I bought a langmuir systems crossfire. So far it's been fun, and done everything I have needed it for. Wondering if fusion 360 is the best option for cad/can programming or what are other people using? Also, any good or fun projects that have been completed?

I'm looking to piece one together. Starting with a CNC ready cutter off Amazon.

I've been watching this unit for months now and it came on sale today at 60% off. Seems too good to be true but I ordered one.

I had one and got rid of it, took up a lot of space and made a lot of dust. Ended up being easier to just get stuff I needed laser cut, sometimes its cheaper than I can buy stock for and it comes out way better. But when I did have it I used sheetcam half the time and fusion the other half, I had the free version of sheetcam limited to 300lines of code so would use fusion after that. Fusion worked well, I used the mach3 plasma post and modified it a little to work better with my table but nothing crazy, mostly for z probing which looks like the crossfire doesn't even have a z axis unless you get the pro version.

I have got more familiar with the fusion360 software now. I did try the sheetcam free version but it's limited. I use the table all the time as I do tons of welding/fab work on the side. I have expanded it to a 4x4 table and made it have a z axis. After I did all that I changed my cam software over to their firecut software and it made it way more simple.

On the other note, I bought one of those plasma cutters on amazon today, can't pass up a good deal, and figured if it will cut 1/2" might as well put it on my service truck atleast.... Or have a third plasma cutter....

Yeah, I paid $236.06 for mine, wish I had bought two now!

I would love to have a small scale waterjet rather than a plasma.

I missed the crowdfunding drive when the Wazer tabletop water jet was first introduced.
The first couple spots were under a grand, they were at $3500 by the time I found out.
They are $8k now so I would have loved to get in when they were offered at under $2K

Ya, I missed out on a wright cnc plasma table for $1800 for their 4x6 at the time. Could pull the trigger, and then paid the same on a used one that at the time was 26x34. Now it's 4x4. Does what I need. I don't think a water jet would ever be in my price range for a hobby/side work. The slag or dross on my plasma table can be cleaned off real easy, and I use a 1mm tip on anything small and it is near perfect. With the water table I have cut 22 guage without any warping.
