coffman Pipe on 750sxi

Low screw is strictly just for a steady idle and has no bearing on giving it throttle and it bogging down right? I found it wasn't good at 3/4 turn with the thrttole screw slightly turned in as well to give it a bit of gas. But then again.... i was only accidently tuning for 1 carb instead of 2. User error. Just trying to plan for my next tuning session.

The low screw is your low speed till half throttle or so performance ,it does,those are the ones to start with ,and generally 1.- 2 turns out from all the way in is a place to start

Match the carb that you didnt turn, clean it out and see what it does

These are available ,the standup days and oceanpro are all but done

You need the water covers if your gonna be doing subs or think your gonna get water in the carbs, l think l remember those carb cover style as being very restrictive what you may wana see if it bogs without the stock arrestor it may be causing the problem with the pipe

It's not a good idea to ride without a spark arrestor but you can if you want your around water if a fire started somehow

Ultimately it may be the wrong pipe , if you get it to run good and its fast enough leave it , you'll just be out 6-13hp

On a limited dry pipe
Or -3-5hp limited wet pipe

It could be a sxi rocket pipe?

I ripped out the waterbox. Think i could hook it up on the new right side inplace of the muffler and that should be okay? Id prefer waterbox
 
Looks like that blowsion flame arrestor setup will set me back 170$. Looks like i should pick it up though, based on everyones input. Im trying to do this build right.

That escalated quickly. And dont worry guys, i wont burn my engine up. The mechanics of how Oil works with a wide open throttle are self evident =]
