Super Jet Cold compression

Getting 110 psi ón a cold 701 engine 61x cylinder its a cheap gauges suede i run it ??? Its a backup engine

It did last year just fine, havnet been run in 5 monthes

as long as the two cylinders are the same (+/- 10%),
run it. if it is really 110, it will not run well . . ..

hmmm i thought it was the oposite..

my polaris 800 liberty sled normally comes with 125-135 psi but since it was a colorado ski it has 155 psi...

Less air at higher elevation should decrease the pressure. Maybe your polaris has bumped compression so that it ran normally in Colorado?

They may have cranked up the compression to compensate. Not certain though.

How do you figure that works, considering air density decreases with altitude?

Ha ha peopel seemes too know alot about Denmark. I am going too mounth the engine and get a hot compression test

I will admit that my last time in Denmark was circa 1994 near Frederikshavn.

Double check with a proven good compression gauge!

I will ran the engine the order day ran pretty good with soo low comp.

110 isn't low. its just fine if it hasn't been run in a while. there wont be alot of oil on the cylinder walls and that will cause low comp. if it ran fine when put away it will run fine now as far as compression goes
