Cold Fusion Motor Mounts

Im in the market for some motor mounts. I have seen many slightly used sets of the cold fusion mounts for sale. Any reviews on these? Why have people been buying them then selling them soon after? Rubber too hard?

I wouldnt buy them used. May have just been my situation, But i bought a slightly used set and ended up breaking two motor mounts shortly after. Granted i was doing some fairly major backflops LOL. I will say that Cold Fusions customer service kicks ass though. Very good people to do business with. The New mounts that i got look great, have a new design( i think he said they where on there 6th revision?) and have held up great so far. I would buy another set for my next build for sure.

There were some complaints last season or so, but design/formulation was changed and since then haven't heard on many issues.

When not GP mounts ? I have not brokken one yet, they a cheap and vibration is like stock.

I am sick of breaking them! I started a thread like this a while back and the best answer I got was TC uses OEM. As "good" as OEM are I have found Wamiltons to be a tad better. When they do break they "hang on" if that makes sense.

I refuse to try any other than OEM or Wami until I hear a reputable surf rider swear by them.

I am running 3 good Wami now and 1 broken Wami and they are NOT that old at all AND I was out for 8 weeks this Summer with a broken thumb.

I wish I knew of a GREAT mount!

I drillede the holds a littel bigger fitted my bob hull nice, you Can also mil off the bottom.

X2 believe he can even do custom heights

I milled mine and slotted the holes...it just wasn't happening. Maniac refunded me and got back some nice machined mounts for someone!

I am terrified to try Rhass again....soooo much carnage last time!

OEM or Monkey grips for me. I have landed upside-down on double up and no failures.
