Super Jet Cold fusion riser bar bracket on xmetal pole

Trying to install the cold fusion riser bar set up on an xmetal pole but not sure how the bushings go. Any one have pics or can explain that would be great.

I see how the bushings go but should they fit into the hole in the pole or be on top of it?

Is the lip suppose to fit in down in the hole or does it just rest on top like this?

Forgot I had my 08 pole so I could check on there. Yes they are suppose to go down in the hole. Funny thing is the xmetal poles hole isn't big enough. Get I am going to take it to the drill press tomorrow and open it up to fit.
