Well, do you like maintenance free, smooth steering with only 1 extra component? If yes, then get the Cold-Fusion.
Perhaps you like to wrench and spend lots of money, and have multiple components always break. If thats your style, then by all means bearing system steering is readily available everywhere.
I just sold my UMI steering. I went through O-rings like no other. Bearings went bad all the time, and even that $30 Krok Kollar broke. What a waste of time and money...
Cold-Fusion just has 4 bolts for the bars and thats it! Everything is built together, just one solid piece of billet. I don't know why anyone would question it...
thier split nut is nice also. Using 7/8 solid round stock for bars is over -2". Feels good being that close to the pivot point. I would like a +2 pole and a -4 turn plate.
This is on my list as well......moving away from the WDK steering I have.
Greasing it has become a pita and I don't want to deal with it.
Less wrenching = more riding :biggrin:
