Night one " building a better mousetrap
after installing the INCLUDED and fitted pump shoe, nice touch Tem. I moved to the front of the ski and installed a bow hook with a nice stainless backing plate ,I did Need to make a spacer to move the pump shoe back about a 1/16 of an inch so the pump mounting bolts would line up perfect, this could be due to the billet mag pump Im using.
Next was on to the pole mount, after installing the unique pole brackets with the corresponding hardware (supplied) I trimmed the pole bushings for a perfect fit
Due to the unique mount system a standard pole bolt and spring really insnt a viable option, so off to the shop to make up some pivot bolts, caps and spring retainers. Ive used 2 40 pound torsion springs to help lighten the load as the titan pole Im using is a tad heavy, not sure how much this will help due to the leverage factor of the long pole but we will see. I havnt made the small bracket yet for the spring ends to insert into the pole base

Carl , You kick ass , I love the fact you can go out to the shop and fab up some insane parts on the spot . Chad (Tipafew) found a way to put the pole bolt, springs and bracket together in one shot , he dropped the whole enchilada into the pole well and slipped the pole bracket bolts in .
There will be some cursing me on the rigging process but I think you will like the ride when it's dialed in .

Tem,

i had a gap between my pump and pump shoe as well.

i ended up making the pump bolt holes on the pump larger so i could push it further forward.

little trouble as well but opened up pump holes . I'm plan on drilling rear tabs and threading in a set screw a to index the pump. This will make it much easer to line up the pump if you ever take the ware ring off.
