Cold water head gear?

I had to jump in here cause I seen you were from N.C. too. I just scooped a SN w/ 701, factory B pipe, limited chamber, dual 38's, solas impeller, and a bunch of other goodies!! Anyways I'm to impatient to wait till spring to ride, so I picked up an old school yamaha wetsuit and struck out today (no shoes)!! The water was 47 and temp outside was like 55-58 a little cloudy (perfect Jan. day to ride) But there was NObody out on the water here. Ppl were coming out on their porches and piers lookin at me like I was nuts!! Now I think I'm gonna wait till Feb. to take it to the shop for repainting and freestyle setting up...lol

Originally I planned on ordering the Deep See 4mm Dry Comfort Gloves (drysuit gloves), but now think I’ll run the “warm hands” setup by running the warm water discharge up to the handlebars. The 3mm wetsuit gloves fit much better than the drysuit gloves, I just hope they’ll be warm enough.

Thoughts on the gloves?

This might help in cold situations. Never used one (doesn't get that cold here) but it might help protect the face a little more.
