Do you think boyd will let us put out a buoy course just south of the jet ski ramp in that little cove area? Is it against the rules? if so, maybe I can shoot them an email and get it ok'd.

Less than one week to go! Looks like Sunday will be the bigger day, but there will be plenty of us out both days.

I know! I cant wait. Everyone, make sure to show up as early as possible. The beach was totally packed yesterday at noon when I showed up. We had to set up our spot near a smelly swampy area. I would imagine if you are there by 10 you should be good. On another note, I talked to Landon about setting up a buoy course. He said they had done it before but Boyd's rule is that whoever rides it needs to have a helmet. Also, someone at boyd needs to be notified ahead of time (I think he said a guy named eric is the guy to contact) and that they need to evaluate how busy the lake is that day before it can be set up. IMHO it sounds like more work than its worth. If someone else wants to take it on then by all means go for it. I don't think I want to deal with it.

The bouy's are a ton of fun. I doubt they will let it go on a busy weekend however. I will plan on showing up early (9-10AM) with my EZ-Up to claim as much real estate as possible. Ill try to cordinate with some other guys to get a couple EZ-Ups claiming the area.

Got us some banners donated by motoadventure, now we will look official, anyone not familiar with lake just look for the banners and carefull what we ask the rangers, events require permits so this is just a meet and greet

given the fact that we had 17 stand ups out last time and most noco guys weren't able to make it, I would venture to estimate that we will have 30+ out there on sunday at least. cant wait!
