I will measure a BMX barrel adjuster tonight to get an idea of the thread size. I know I have seen a BMX brake lever used somewhere, someplace by someone for a finger throttle! Probably was PWCT back in the day.

But if we can use bicycle levers, there is a whole world of levers that are cool as he!!. There are some sweet mountain bike machined levers.

Id like to introduce these as well
Shark Fab Throttle Lever
It started life as 2 solid blocks of 6061 aluminum, pivot pin made of brass with a teflon bearing with stainless steel hardware. It has an adjuster barrel that fit the yamaha cable, i havent checked if the kawi cable will fit yet. Entirely rebuildable. Levers are clear anodized, and the bodies are blue or black. 54.99USD

I measured the BMX lever I had. The barrel size adjuster was M7 x 1.00 Look just like those Shark ones. I ma unsure what size the Yamaha stuff is but they won't fit an old Kawasaki or new style Kawasaki cable. It may be able to be drilled out but seems like a big hassle.

yep, but its still under construction, ive put some random pictures on it to have something to look at

the parts i will have this year are the throttle lever, the girdle head and a 6mm strocker crank. i will maybe design an entire 1000cc engine from crank to head this summer and hopefully have something to show next year.

To me it looks like the the PJS one is the best, attractive shape, looks to be of the right angles and whatnot.

The shark Fab looks real nice for the price but unless its a threaded barrel adapter, that will turn me off completely. If the throttle cable just slides in and out of the barrel, then theres a bunch of room for cable slack.

The Wamiltons might be my next choice, dunno... looks a bit fat on the blade.

Ive used the blowsion ones and i think that the sharp square edge sucks. I also dont like their shape on the finger.
