Super Jet Compression doesn't hold, builds up, leaks off.

I'm so sick of starting threads in the driveline section...:banghead: I searched a bunch and didn't find anything, so sorry if this has been covered.

So i'm working on my ski tonight, and decide to double check the compression. I checked it a week ago and it was 155/160-ish, and seemed to hold for 20-30 seconds which was good enough for me. But I pulled both plugs at that time which I found out was wrong. So tonight, left one in, do test... the compression builds up, and then slowly leaks off to zero. It takes about 15-20 seconds for it to go back to zero.

I sprayed soapy water on all the joints of the gauge etc, as well as the cylinders and other parts of the engine. No bubbles.

I'm hoping like hell that something is wrong with my gauge, but if not, what should I be looking for?

Yep... Only the crankcase needs to hold pressure and that's only 10psi MAX.

edit: Better to verify the stupid stuff than confirm your stupidity by assuming it's good and blowing something up.

Ok, it's always held at the gauge in the past.

Realized I could test it on my wifes blaster and had the same results.

Thanks guys, I owe you both a drink or 3 for always responding to my threads.
Hopefully I learn enough to help others as much as y'all have helped me out.
