Read a thread not to long ago about a contact adhesive remover.. Just yanked the turf off my ski and am looking to get a hold of some. Will the DAP remover work on other adhesives? I don't know what was on my ski to begin with, as I did not originally turf it. Is this stuff available at lowes, home depot, menards, other big box stores?

I used a flapper disk on my 4 1/2" grinder.. worked quick and well!

goof off and a plastic scraper
seems like it would gum up a belt sander, d/a, etc. Ill have to give it a try i guess.

FIRE!!!!! empty the tank in the tray and and torch it. i hate removing that chit. i have had to do it every year due to one BS thing or another. and im getting ready to defoam and do it again.

Gas and a scraper will do the job. Let the gas sit for a couple mins and soak in, then it will scrape off with ease.

I just used a multi function tool from Harbor Freight. It comes with a scrapper blade. Took all the old turf glue off in a matter of minuets. I was really dreading de-turfing till I thought about using that tool. Then I switched blades and used it to cut out the foot hold. Great tool to have on hand.

3M adhesive remover white and red can.....have to let it goooo it up, and scrape it off, works for me, also is awesome on decal goo without screwing up paint.
