Does anyone know how to convert an SXR 800 to a Yamaha start stop switch?
Thanks, and Happy New Year!

I'll take one. You think you can make it work?I built 2 or 3 but never did advertise them. Been sitting on a shelf for a good year at least.
I don't know if I ever finalized the connections to ensure they were going to work as required. IIRC I discovered a difference in the internals of the switches themselves and never followed up on what it was going to take to make them work.
Colors are all the same, so you just switch connectors?Remove the pins from the black and white plugs on the end of the Yamaha switch lead and put them int the Kawasaki plug end you remove from your old switch.
You have a bit extra black and white that a cable tie will take care of.
Do it all the time.

Please post a pic if you can.Not the same colour.
I haven't got one here but it's an easy thing to figure out.
The square male plug in the kawi switch uses the same pins as the 2 Yamaha ones.
So just push out all the pins in all the plugs and use the kawi male plug body with the Yamaha switch pins.
Just had one in the workshop too, forgot I answerd this (unusual thing for me to do) or I would have taken a pic.
