Cooling help

I got a high comp head for my sn. It's a 701 with a protec dry pipe the old chrome one. It's single cooling. The head has dual outlets and I have a flow control valve. Can someone point me in the right way or describe how to route this water best as possible? Thanks!

Use a wye to connect the 2 head outlets into one and run standard single cooling. In lieu of a wye, use the front for a flush kit and the rear to the pipe. If it's too hot, then switch to dual cooling and run standard dual cooling.

Ok

What would happen if I ran the second head outlet to a 2nd pisser and then put my flow control between the head pipe and chamber?

You'd stop most of the flow out of the pipe, so most of the water would go out of the second pisser on the head, and your pipe would likely run hot.

I did notice that my pipe isn't running sizzling hot. Would running that second outlet be a safe try?

You said it was a dry pipe. Dry pipes ae jacketed so they wont sizzle on the outside.

I dont think things like westcoast pipes sizzle but im not sure on that.

With things likewestcoast pipes, they are wet, but not tunable like a fpp. That doesnt mean you cant tune them however. They have an injection hole like fpp isnt just not adjustable. You can make mild adjustments by changing your pipe pressures. You could run 2 lines off the head, just use restrictors. you lines out should be the same size as the lines in. For instance, xmetal has 5 pissers but only 2 intake, but the intakes are 1/2" and the pissers are 1/4" or less. The amount out is the same asthe amount it, but the out is restricted down to distribte the water how they like. Dont hold me to those exact numbers, because i dont know them exactly, but im confident they dont have 5 lines from the pump.

Ok. I'll Keep that in mind!

Just curious what a flow control valve would do between the 2nd head outlet and the water bypass. Any ideas?

Nothing harmful unless you are negligent in testing / tuning. Just try it and you tell us what you discover.
