if you have a flaring tool, flair it. its simple and would give me a little peace of mind but you could probably get away without it. you could always rent one from advance auto parts, and return it at the full cost.
Earls a division Holley makes a handy little tool for making the flare and they work damn good.... just remember to use a lubricant on it such at tap magic, dexron, etc. http://www.holley.com/008ERL.asp
