I used a stainless tube for my trim cable. Got one that had just a shade larger ID than the ferrule's OD on the cable. I like it. The smaller a hole I had to drill, the better.

Cooling Lines 3/8" stainless, Trim tube 1/2 "Stainless (Some aftermarket trim cables use a larger stud that will no go through a 3/8" tube)
Use filler on the inside of the hull and 5200 on the outside

I thought trim tube is suppose to be upper left hand corner.
Where would you run a tube for duel cooling if you wanted to keep stock bilge?

I ran 1/2" cooling lines but also drilled and retapped for all 1/2" fittings.
