Cooling simple question on my setup

I have a factory pipe limited with protect head, engine bored over 1 with freestyle porting (Waveblaster).....

Cooling line from the pump supplies the exhaust manifold. (just one line)

Cooling exit line from the head supplies the b-pipe headpipe.

2nd Cooling exit line from the head has a flusher

Cooling exit line from the headpipe supplies the stinger, and you cut a tee in this line that runs to a side squirter.

The question is should I make the flusher line a pisser? it appears to have a restrictor on it already.

No, one line in, and one line out is fine. If you were to use a pisser where the flush is, you would lose water volume and pressure that is regulating the water injected in the pipe as well as the cooling of the headpipe and stinger feed. Engine would run cooler to cold, and the pipe would run hotter to overheat hot depending on how hot the water is where you ride.
A colder engine cylinder and a hotter running pipe could result in a seizure at wide open throttle.

Thats how I have mine now,,, techs at Protec told me to do it this way and I am running a factory limited pipe. II ran it this weekend and it did just fine

Tap the pump for dual cooling. Takes about 30 minutes to do. Then you can cool the motor and exhaust on different circuits. Since you live in Texas, this would be beneficial because the water temp here is 85-90 degrees at times.

i have singel cooling. 1 from head to pipe and 2 from head to pisser.
didnt now this could be a problem.

would it be okay if i restricted the 2nd fitting from head to pisser? that would increase the water trough the pipe?

I'm running single line cooling from the pump and T'd both my out lets together out of the head and then ran another T with one line feeding the head pipe and the other leading to a restricted pisser. I'm also run another T between the head pipe and stinger. Its on a coffman pipe but pretty similar I think. I did it this way to even out the flow water flow between front and rear cylinders

you could run that as a second pisser
IF you restrict it severely and the water is relatively cool
In Texas, I would run definitely dual cooling and dual pissers
or risk the Supertune scenario above

I happen to agree with the quoted posts.
I stated what I know with 20 years in this business (7 years on Bud tour).
Yes, in a freestyle (not freeride) specific application running 2 unrestricted 3/8 outlets with only 1 incoming, if the water is cold, not a lot of wide open running and with some extra screw opening other than the standard setting from Factory Pipe you can run it this way.
I answered his question based off of reliability, for HIS setup.
If you run wide open much, cruise some distance, and run factory pipe water settings your going to burn up the exhaust and with leaner water pressure on the injectors, the jetting of the carbs will be leaner and could be a cause of a unexpected seizure.
He wouldn't make it 3 laps on a buoy course!

Now if your running some old Pro-Tec exhaust that doesn't have the external water adjuster, you might just be under the wire as these old design pipes had a BIG fixed hole in them feeding the chamber and they like less water flow to them for increased performance.

well i have a coffman sizzler pipe. with fixed holes.
i noticed a huge difference when i installed my head may be that the pipe runs hotter now as well as higher compression.
i was abit fat before. and maybe now my jetting is more spot on. cause it runs so god now. i´m loving it.

when ive ridden for a while and pop the hood and throw water at the chamber it does not sizzle. but chamber is very hot. does this sound safe or do i still need to restrict.

im runnin a fp limited. bottom screw open 3/4. others clsoed.

single cooling into manifold, bottom headpipe to head, head to pisser and top pipe to pisser.

my pipe doesnt sizzle. my head seems right temp as well. id say i run in cooler waters. usually ride surf and occasionally just cruise around. been running all summer and seems fine. prob wont do dual cooling to winter. anyway to better set this up at the moment?
