Coquina Beach Freeride

Heard about this ride from jetmaniac. Ill be in miami and will try and make the drive for saturday.

Obviously wont have my ski and never ridden in the surf, but would like attend even if just to meet some of you guys in person.

Could i bring the wife and kids? How's the swimming at this beach for young kids (under 5 yrs)

This is the 1st freeride at this spot and time. Based on the Daytona Freeride, which you should definitely not miss in January (although its not for your style ski), it's hang out with a bunch of people who like the same stuff, watch other people who are better than you ride so you can set goals for yourself, check out vendors and see cool parts in person rather than pictures online, check out a bunch of different ski setups and get ideas for modifying your ski, and maybe win something cool in a raffle.

I know I texted you about this, but what are the plans for trailers? The host hotel has limited parking. We are debating a trailer or pickup only, and now that I bought lisa a SXR, we are leaning strongly toward the trailer.

We will be there Saturday and Sunday. I think you have my number. Be sure to catch up with us if you are there. I'm not sure we have met in person (I think once a few years ago), but we do want to meet some of the Daytona locals to ride with on day trips throughout the year.

I may need to find someone with trailer space that can bring my ski. Van is in the shop, and I am uncertain if I'll be able to bring the ski. I will be there, but it'd be a lot more fun with ski. Coming from St.Pete if anyone has a spot.

If we bring the trailer, then it can go in the bed of my truck. But I don't think we are bringing the trailer...

Yup, you rode my bro's x2 at daytona '07 or something like that. I'm driving down to Florida Weds, but my chances of making the ride this weekend are pretty low. Looking like I have to work all day Saturday. But if I do make it I will look you up.

Trailers will have parking mike. We will have the back portion which is for trailers. Everyone will put their skis in the back and the skis will be blovked in by our vehicles. The swimming area across the park on the gulf side is great for kids full on duty life guards and roped in swimming sections about 200yards from ride zone.
