first pic - WTF are the 2 circled bosses for?

second pic - WTF are the 2 circled holes for (I'm thinking possibly the dash panel)...and are the e-box mounting screws supposed to be off-center on a RN? they aren't on my SN.

The first pic is the location of the fuel tank rubber bumber. The two bosses locate the piece. It's held down with two sheet metal screws.

The second pic should be mounting holes for the dash panel like you thought. It's(was) riveted in place.

The e-box mounts ARE set off center.:veryhappy:
