coupler spacing???

hey guys just curious on the coupler spacing distance on a SJ for the intermediate shaft and crank coupling?
i have heard a few reviews on distances apart and some for freestyle should be more but was just wondering some other opinions?
any help would be great:smile:

Freestyle set-ups should be 1/4 if using OEM stock couplers. They bend way too easy if you 'smack'em' together!

That's good to know Chuck... i was struggling with mine trying to get it into factory spec... now i feel much more comfortable with where i finally wound up. :biggthumpup:

The intermediate shaft should protrude out the back of the housing 19.5-20.5mm to give you the proper spline engagement, and that should give you the proper gap. Shim the couplers if needed.
