Super Jet Coupler

I put a new MOD B Factory pipe on my 09 Superjet and im having problems with the coupler near the gas tank popping off. Is there anythig i can do other than putting lock tight on the 2 coupler clamps to prevent this from happening?

try cleaning with simple green, this will clean the grease off and make it easier for clamps to grip. from the factory some couplers have a protective film. try that first....its a simple solution to try before you spend money to try and fix it

Did you use the Factory Pipe elbow or cut your stock hose? The stinger on a mod chamber is smaller than the stock hose. The FP elbow is tapered to fit properly.

Yeah i just bought the Factory pipe Exhaust tube for the other end, so i think with that and cleaning the Coupler on the other side everything should be good.

Im in Afghanistan right now so I'm just gonna just ship my ski to Wamilton's and have them do work on it till I get back home. Much easier than relying on the little shops in Oceanside that won't pay attention to detail anyway. Thanks for the info guys..
