I had the original Powermouse in my gen 2 BOB and it was an animal! I also know that Chuck at CPT is a great guy and builder as is Chris(Jetmaniac) Any one of the three motors you pick you will not be disappointed with.

was this used for FW or surf. Was it something you can flip and roll on setup wake. ive only ridden one jm781 and i loved the power even with 38's, never had the balls to try and flip somebody else's ski in a shallow lake so never was able to find out for myself

CPT porting is a joke. His case porting is SOOO BASIC!!

I'm Def never one to take the defensive route however I feel this response may warrant some polite defense.

Depending on what case port job you are referring to could change how you perceived my work. Often i will port the cases to customers want/budget. That being said on engines with near stock stroke I have found in my experience that excessive porting causes to much of a drop in crank case pressure (due to the increased volume from removing all the metal). Therefore negating any gain in crankcase flow. I believe a happy medium of some porting with out a mass lose in crank case volume is optimal. The oems had crank case pressure/ratio calculated properly in the first place.

Now with a stroker you increase the crank case pressure due to the added travel of the piston over stock stroke. Therefore more material can be removed to maximize crank case flow while maintaining proper crack case pressure.

I've built 270cc single cylinder 2 strokes that make over 95 hp. Bigger is not always better especially when porting an engine.
Due to the above explication I suppose my stock stroke case porting could be called "basic". However depending on the customers budget I assure you my cylinder porting is far from basic.

Back to the Op question. As Tommy said I believe you would be satisfied with any of the three engines listed and each builder stands behind there work evenly.

Give Art at JetWorks a call. He knows what hes doing.
all in all i did alot more searching and ended up talking to Art at JetWorks for about 30 mins and im going with the JetWorks BB850 he recommended with my setup. along with some other for the price i really couldnt beat it. Hes modding my carbs while hes at it so i should have a very solid ski when finished.

And i wanted to changed the poll but couldnt figure out how to change it once it was open.

This setup was in my 140 lb glass Bob with a rtr weight of 330 and yes I could flatwater flip and roll it. I used it for both surf and flat.
