second pic see the discoloration on the bolt head.... he he he

that be water intrusion, my nigga

:afro:
Thats why I decided to rip the whole mutha focka apart and do it proper, having never done this before its a bit un-nerving cutting it up to this degree for the first time.

youre going to want a shorter pole after 1 ride....cut that bitch another 2", then add shortened steering<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
I have the shortened Blowsion turnplate with straight bars and cut my pole down just over 2 inches. Under reccomendation from others I decided to stop there as I do have some existing back issues and don't want to get too short.

All sealed up, ready to foam. Interesting discovery today also, found the male threaded part that goes into the steering cable housing may be too long and bottom out before it gets tite, so I took a bit off it and it cranked down tite on the seals.

Looks clean in there. Did you cut the hole lower in the engine compartment to lower the exhaust?
I think I used my rotozip tool, its down about an inch. then I glassed up the top when reinforcing the firewall. It just looked like it was going to take up too much of the foothold for my taste, so I lowered it. Sometimes I like to use the front of the holds with just my toes, I may even extend them fwd like clowners. Just wait until you see the back of the holds.

Are you gonna extend the back of the footholds too? I'm considering doing that so I can wedge my foot in there when riding one foot back and one foot forward.

Going to open them up so they don't bruise you ankles, and access from the back, also gives the wide tray.
