Crack in upper case of 62T

Has anyone ever seen this type of damage? Is this a critical area? It is in the front of the case/stator housing area. It is on a set of used/remanufactured cases.

That is the boss for the mag crank bearing index pin crank bearing was not aligned correctly when installing.
which also means oil lube passage is not lined up properly either.

but yes, those voids can be filled with a flowable aluminized epoxy to repair
