I guess it all boils down to where they are cracked at but honestly they put 720's in everthing finding a used set would probably be cheaper. check with Westside power sports and see what he will sell you a set for.

Are you trying to get cores to complete a return core for SBT or are you trying to build an engine, I have cylinders here but I am not wanting to give them to SBT, they can find their own. I also have a local tig guy that does excellent aluminum repair.

They are both cracked at the upper corner on the exhaust side. Motor still runs strong- I would like to see if I can get them repaired, seeing as how redoing the top end adds other wrinkles and options…

One thing I have done in the past you may want to consider is finding some really worn out cylinders that are not cracked then swapping the sleeves in the aluminum cylinders.

Welding that up won't be particularly hard as it's just water running through there, aluminum that has oil contact is much harder to get clean and weld properly, however remachining that o -ring groove properly is going to be a b!tch and require a lot of hand work or hand operation on a milling machine, either way not fun . time consuming and costly.

Just a top end , that is your least expensive option, however you have no idea what your options are till you disassemble it and see what you have to work with.

Most cases nothing else is damaged. Just spews water into the hull. You might even just V grind the cracks and JB Weld them up. You're only talking about maybe 15psi water pressure in the system.
Like WFO said, disassemble and check everything out.

This is a pretty good deal here, however you would need to find out what pistons he was running and try to match a set up or swap your liners into these jugs.

The problem you have as I see it it is you don't have usable cores, that rules out any kind of cylinder swap like SBT, WSM or any of those guys on Ebay doing cylinder swaps.

Keep in mind these are already bored, that alone usually cost about $100 per hole, at the worst case on these you could buy a set of Wisecos and have them fitted as they take more piston to wall clearance, his shipping seems more than reasonable
