300/440/550 Cracked my case!

My js440 has a cracked bottom end upper case crack about an inch long on the starter side. How could this happen and what to do?

Did the crank give out? Could be from stress or excess heat. Abuse? Could have been dropped at some point...

So what to do from here. Piston wing exploded and theres metal everywhere.

Get a set of piston kits, bore/hone the cylinder if its not torn up too bad and throw a new crank in a set of used cases.

Or just buy a superjet.
