actually i smell scam if im asked if something is still for sale. Duh of course it is or the ad woul most likely be gone

I ask sometimes because people are idiots. I contact people all the time, asking different questions from what is the compression to is it still for sale and get the response it's sold. Often it includes some snide remark like I should have known it was sold. It's even worse when they say they sold it a week ago. Delete your poop.

I texted him CASH ONLY ON PICKUP twice in a row and get this back:
"no this is not a scam do get back to me with paypal email for the payment."

This guy will not give up...lol
You think this is a real guy or a computer that just has replies for some key words?
Just when you thought you've seen it all...damn

I really appreciate all the feedback that has been left here about the texting CL scammers around the country! TY

Reply that he needs to send you a picture of his face with the words x-h20 on it so that you know it is not a scam

I guess it's just me but I can't fathom why people use their phone as the primary means of contact when listing in CL...

Too many nutjobs out there and the risk of getting constant texts/signed up for who knows what, late night calls, etc. ain't worth the headache.

It's easier to just use the anon CL mail process for vetting (English only, remedial grammer) before engaging the next steps of providing a phone # or address.

Even buying I'm hesitant, if it's the sellers only means of communication I use google voice or outbound through my companies vru.

Seen first hand people on the wrong side of the antics CL'tards create for enjoyment. No thanks.
