Crank seals???

I see some black grease like discharge from my rear crank seal

so I pulled my engine out after daytona to clean It up and do some repairs to my top deck (I cracked the side around the hood) just above the bond line. It dosen't look like its anything more then just gelcoat damage but I though I would reinforce it a little bit. i'll put up some pics later this week.

I don't think its normal to have anything coming through a seal on a 2 stroke,,, Right? so I need new crank seals?

so the question, 3 seasons on oe crank, 2 seasons with group k big bore. do i check/rebuild this crank or buy a new one?

I am planning to get a wet pipe for this season also.

thanks

Since you have the groupK big bore I would think a fresh crank would be good insurance. If you decide to go that route. I have a New OEM Kawasaki crank and crank seals that has been trued and welded by Riva. OEM is the best but it isnt cheap.
