Crank arrived today. Looks amazing.
After keeping on them for the last week, it finally shipped last Friday. From what it sounded like it was assembled about a week ago but they never bothered to contact me. I won't say what I paid, but it was discounted VERY heavily and arrived when they said it would.
Because of this, I will give them a 2nd shot. There packaging is amazing, crank looks beautiful, just overall a very nice end product.
Only downside in this situation was the wait time - little over 5 months. They assured me it really was the bearings they were waiting on.
Thanks again Crankworks!

This company is unreal.
I had a 8MM stroker crank I hydro locked, and bent a rod on.
New rod and rebuild with new bearings was quoted to be $400ish. Sent it down there 2 MONTHS ago.
A MONTH ago, they pulled it apart, called me said the pin holes were out of round and would need to "re-stroke" and the price would be $610, fine get it done send it back.
I haven't heard anything or seen anything since so I called them back today and said they were waiting on bearings and would not be done until after X-mas... I was just like wonderful, what I am I at for cost now (making sure they were doing to come back with the same quote as before). He sits there and calculates and comes back with a price of $735. This is when I lost it.
Every time I talk to them the price goes up, this time with out explanation. After layin' into them a bit they kept there price back at $610, then he made the remark "hopefully nothing else will have to be done".
What the hell does that mean? They have had the crank for over 2 MONTHS and have had plenty of time to figure out what all has to be done!
Rant off.
