Get that motor in yet?

Yes! I got the motor in on Sunday. Took it out on Monday. It performs flawlessly out of the box. I didn't have to do any adjustment. The SS900 pulls harder on the mid-range and snapper on the bottom. It did not have a change to go full throttle yet, breaking it in and plus too scary. My stator went out about an hour into my first ride. But it's all fixed now. I love the power and the bullet proof feeling of these motors. With the addition of Solas Mag and the extra CC, I'm able to do huge back flips of wind swells out in San Francisco Bay. I'll be heading to Santa Barbara this weekend for some riding, I'll have some action pictures up soon... Thanks

Love it! Congrats Coung! I'm curious how many hrs you get out of it before it comes apart- keep track. The first after market engine builder who can produce a 500 hr 1000cc motor then I'm all over it!

How long are these 900s supposed to last? I know its not that easy of a question, but i wonder about the reliability of them vs a stock SJ/SXR motor?

Well, My new SS900 has about 7 tanks of fuel through it and it's running strong. I've also installed the new X-Scream water box. It gave the motor a deeper throaty sound. A full tank of gas (5 gallons) gives me about 45 min of riding time. Anytime you're running a motor like this, you have to pay more attention to how it performs. If it starts to run different or not perfect, then it requires immediate attentions. X-Scream is always a phone call away with assistance. I'll try to keep update on my motor.
