In process of making a custom carbon battery box. Wondering where to find the metal clips that hold the strap pictured below. Not exactly sure what to search for so no luck there.

You could make some out of alum or stainless, if carbon, you will need to isolate the 2 materials with an insulator.

Well find out how much work you wanna put it to it.
Pretty easy to mold a piece of plastic to use as mold for a carbon hook.
Otherwise like big K said, bend a piece of alu or stainliess. If you glue aluminum to the carbon, make sure you isolate it, to avoid galvanic corrosion

Thanks guys. Wouldn’t have know about the isolation. I’ll use some rubber between for sure. I can definitely bend something up easily enough. Was thinking these were an off the shelf item.

If it's a lightweight lithium battery, industrial velcro works great. I use it on mine, and will be mounting my battery, ebox, and misc equipment on my new flatwater build. Very same. And removable if you ever want to change it
