Cutting Protec nozzle

I have a long protec nozzle setup for trim. Now that is is on a rickter it hangs out the back more than it needs to IMO. Does anyone see an issue with cutting it down? I want to cut about 2" off the end of it. It tapers down to the same bore for about 4". Will there be a big difference is power delivery?

Here is a pic of the same nozzle from another post.

Maybe look for a trade with someone that may want a long one first as opposed to cutting it. Or put it on the shelf for a later date and purchase a short one. It would suck if you needed it one day.

That's exactly where I have it marked right now. I'll throw option up to trade but it's trimmed for tilt too. The length was not to bad on a super jet. On the new ski it hangs way out.

I do have a stck nozzle I could stick on just to see the handling difference.
