FX-1 D-cut help

So I'm finishing the ride plate I decided to make for my ski and need some d-cut advice. This was based off a Pro-Tec plate and cut flush with the rear. Was trying to figure out where to make the cut. Here is what I was thinking, it's about 3/4" from each side and extends in 2 1/2". I know the cut line is a bit off, was just trying to get an idea of where to cut it to.

The pictures make the plate look horrible, in person it looks much better.

That looks about right. I went 3" on mine which I think most people do.

Cool deal, got it cut tonight, just need to smooth it out tomorrow.
