Hey mark did you ever get those cases of oil? I am still in if you are.
The vw is not a synchro. I wish it was because I like to drive on sand. I think that option would have cost me anothe 5k and years of searching.

You know the mods you do to your ski and don't notice much difference? This is not one of them. I didn't take any pics but scott and ang did I think. I need to figure out the steer nozzle. It cannot control this amount of flow and is back feeding my pump cavity to the point that my rear bow eye looks like a pisser. I gotta be loosing 30% thrust. Lol.

There are a few factors at play that I am hoping to solve. Bottom end hookup? To me it feels the same. The pump is always ready to go. My carbs seem to be giving me a bit of a bog. Again I need to finish my build to make sure that it's not the way I have my external pump running without the carb block off plates. Now the bottom lower speed hit or throttle response is down. But if the ski is already moving..... I have hucked some air on setup wakes before but not like this. My ski is not handling the same and my timing and turning is very sloppy. Even so, it hits beyond my control. I flew sideways so many times outta control you'd think I was new at this. I will get it dialed in to see just how good it can work without adding any hp to my setup from last season.
