So anyone who knows me knows I cant be with out a project and since my SN conversion will be done here in a week. I picked this up to tear into after daytona. It is a 94 B1 that came with a fresh 61X motor and a Limited chamber(I need the rest of it). I have to pick the motor up after daytona.

Not quite sure what i'm going to do yet since I am new to blasters.

What should i do to it? I am going to paint it that is the only thing I have decided so far.

Do it twice?That's DooDoo
You can check out the mods I have on mine if you do a search for blasters in the for sale section... I have a list of mods I have done to each of them...

I love blasters. You will have fun with that thing.

I dont know if I have the seat mod in my list... take the cover off the seat and cut off that stupid hump on the back with a bread knife (or electric knife if you got one...)... your balls will thank you...

If I were you I would do the following
1 paint
2 seat mod and new cover I like my jet trim cover
3 foot straps heres the link for it http://x-h2o.com/showthread.php?t=7713
4 umi steering

PS I love my motor thanks again! Are you going to Daytona, If you are and i going to have a cold one with you

I'm glad you like it. I will be arriving wendsday around 11am and am staying at the coral beach. Im defiantly up for a beverage.

I know UMI was worth it on my X-2 because the stock was a POS. But since the B1 is fixed is it worth it

Now that daytona is over i started the tear down. Making the list of things it needs and things I want to do. Its getting to be longer than I thought....
I am trying to get it ready to paint the first weekend of February.

If it is going to be a surf ski, I would recommend reenforcement of the sides of the hull in the engine compartment.

If you wish to go deeper, you could cut open the back, and reenforce the transom, and add a rear exhaust. Reenforcement of the hood might be nice as well.

Though if you are just riding flat water, or racing, I doubt it would be worth it.

I really love having the foot straps on my ski! So they would be a good addition, IMO.

Be sure that aftermarket bildge is working!

Got the sides done and will be doing the transom tomorrow night. I did it with 12oz biax and 11oz carbon. I have the plates cut for my foot straps and its almost ready for paint.

transom is re-enforced with 2 layers of 12oz Biax and smoothed out with 404 now. I got the ruff sanding done and will do the final on friday before I shoot it.

Thanks, I'm probably going to run my ported 701 in this and have another motor built for my SJ. I haven't decided yet. It depends on the $$. I will know in 2 weeks what it will be.
