Dasa offers two different cranks for their 8mm and 10mm stroker engines, a billet crank or a forged crank. Anyone have an experience between the two cranks? Any real preference on one crank over the other?
My guess is they are offering an adr crank or a billet crank works crank. The adr crank is a full circle crank (webs are like stock yamaha) where the billet crank will have cut webs ( they will look more like kawi webs). I think the billet crank is lighter, but I ran an adr in my 10 mill dasa for 2 seasons and never had a bit of trouble out of it. I think adr has a superior rod over the others that are out there.
Brand new 133mm Rod design by ADR, they made some cool changes to add even more strength. I've run their 10mm almost 2 yrs in Florida approximately 150 hrs.
