Custom/Hybrid dasa tuned package

ok if you are currently running a dasa 970 (1000) im curious about all your setup details
prop, pump size, intake, carb choice, jetting, pipe, underwear color....you get the picture, thanks....

I can tell you what I know about a few buddies Dasa 1000 setups
one in FR2 w/ bpipe,TL,144 skat mag pump 14/19 prop . 49 full specs currently jetted 135p / 130m w/ 1.8 n/s 80g spring running 225 compression, i think 84.5mm bored up turn nozzle
one in -6.5 carbon freak w/ same pump and setup as above but with a PFP and I cannot remember jetting on his stock bore on nozzle but its a gp upturn

thank you for speaking up.....the ski with the b pipe...mod chamber or? cause i have a c4 chamber to....from running my ss850 the c4 seemed to make more power than the mod chamber...
 
i havent tired any of the big name companies yet....i just wanted to hear what people have been running that seems to work well for them....i havent bought carbs or anything yet...
 
Isnt Gomez putting a Dasa 1000cc in his new Ricker, T. Curtis also runs that motor I think.. Both surf setups.. I am also curious to know how's that motor running on Bpipe and what else..

What do you need to buy, and what do you have that you want to use?

The ideal setup that we have found is

Full Spec 49s (new Dasa carbs work well too)

148 Mag (13/18 or 14/19)

Power factor Pipe

MSD Total loss

As much compression as you can afford octane for :) (220-240)
 
i guess im down to carbs and prop pitch.....im going to run a b pipe ( nynja chamber) 144 setback mag, plan to run an epic and the motor is coming with 195psi domes so i can run pump fuel....
