Freestyle dasa1200 and wdk1200

Lucas's 850 Dasa 10mil Was crazy but so was Brett's 1200 WD and the big surprise was Jetmaniac's 760 it was insane for it's displacement, Lucas was flipping it on a all around hull like it was his 1000 last year. Pump gas, B pipe and all .

that's the truth. jetmaniacs -1 hull and his 760 big bore was flatwater flipping with easy. lucas pulled off some huge underflips on it.

The motor couple be bigger of course. Freestyle comp rules dictate 1200 to be the cc limit. So until(if) that ever changes, that is about as far as well will go for our comp engines.

Yeah but who wants to toy with that small stuff.. LOL!!!! we all know tallent is where its at but it cost more than the 1200 motor if you dont posses it. With tallent you can flip an SJ with a $2000 motor. Big Mike proved it Sunday at lake Diaz.
The rest of us have to spend the big $$$$$$$$$

The 66E 1200 motors are by far more stout and can run mucho longer without crank rebuilds. But you sacrafice weight savings.

Weigh them biotches up and lets see the difference there>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. Dont know that anyone has done that yet.
Speculation is 25# heavier on the 66E???

Yeah, rules change, let EME come out with a 1300 and watch the rules change. I think the WDK can go to 1400cc with a 4mil stroke and 98mm pistons. Its at 1200cc on stock stroke.
 
the xs1000 was 71lbs with carbs and msd fly wheel. the wdk1200 was 91 with carbs and flywheel. the dasa 12 i would imagine would be 75-80lbs in the same trim.
 
is parts for the WDK 1200 is still available ??? what kind of crankshaft and piston it use ??

yes parts are available but just have to go to direct source rather than jeff. stock crank. and yes it can be a 1400, has 4 over bores. i am going to a billet crank one day and also hoping to get domes made so i can get my compression up. lucas threw 3 flips on mine at 185 compression.

What happened with the xs 1200? Heard much about it in a while. Haven't heard much from xscream at all lately. Seems like dsaa is everywhere now

I talked to chucky about the 1200 at daytona. I think things were quiet on the 1200 before because they weren't ready to go full blown production (too much custom machining). It sounds like they're ready to produce them on a larger scale now.

Rumor has it X-scream has them stacked up and near ready. They had 2 at the Flatwater Friday and they sounded awesome.

Wish there was a better manifold / pipe setup for them though. Running the same pipe with 1200cc as 1000cc seems crazy. But heck we ran 650cc through 900cc and up on b-pipes so I guess it works. I have to beleive bigger carbs (like 50mm) and bigger exhauslt ports and pipes would seriously change the game.

pretty sure they take it one hurdle at a time. I wouldn't be surprised if they look into those items next.

X scream HAD a few people on here that did all of their advertising for them... things happened and their word of mouth advertising disappeared....

Pat has his running right now... It took some time like all projects do, always sounds simple on paper.... I rode a wdk1200 , so for XS to get that package where it's at now says a lot... I didn't get to see it much at lk Diaz , but I talked with lucas after he rode it.. He rode all three 1200's that day (he's also rode the wdk1200 before)... He said that (XS1200) is making big power, he said its the most power he's rode since the Japanese boats at World finals... He said he couldn't find a bad spot, pump slip, nothing... He did 5 flips in a row starting from idle.... Lucas is a good friend of mine, this guy could flip 2x4's with a Johnson 6hp on the back.... I think the xs1200 will make an impact this year in the pro class...

I can't wait to start playing with my new 1200 ... Gonna thrust my XFR to the next level!
