date for next TX ride?

the TX ride originally started out as a late summer/early fall event - last year we would have had both rides but due to that bitch Rita, we had to cancel the fall ride.

so - I'm looking at the calender to see what date would be good for a fall ride here.

after Labor Day, house rentals are "off-season" - the water is usually warm enough to ride without wetsuits until mid-October

so - check the calender and suggest a date so we can get started planning. (and I can get started cooking :biggrin

I would like to not have the ride scheduled for the same weekend as Freestyle Fest 6 (Sept 22-24) or Jersey Rager (Oct 14-15) so that nobody is forced to choose one event over another.

I would think we will have to see what kind of interest there is for a fall ride. Of course I be down for whatever.

Ya'll let me know, I am easy. I was thinking another Galveston ride early next month. Maybe just a day trip. Funny thing, every time I freeride, my flat water gets better....
