How was the spot similar looking ?
It was only 4 feet deep where the sets were breaking so a bit sketchy for flips.

Spot was fun because of all the different breaks. Hard to compare size... Maybe slightly smaller but not a make or break difference. Definitely not as stacked up though, they were rolling in slow and clean. Not much of a backflip day, I was the only one risking it so I'd say Daytona may have been a better choice yesterday for you guys. There's a beach break at the spot if you ride south a little ways that was fun with bigger size similar to your pics.

Sounds like you guys had a good time too. Cody Taylor was taking a risk too by doing flips on a blaster, he definitely killed it yesterday.

Ha, Im heading down next Tuesday. Will be riding XMAS, and the Makai zone on New Years plus every weekend till the 9th. Then every day after that till freeride. Hit me up if you guys want to ride any of those days. If you guys needs a place to crash in Daytona for a weekend, might be able to make something work.

Definitely let you know, everyone bought a month pass so I'm sure some of them will want to hit it before the freeride. Any chance of a beach cam this year ? That thing killed us watching the surf roll in while at work...
