the way I learned it and explain to guys trying to learn is to throw your head in the direction of the gas cap on a RN superjet.(if you roll left) Slightly to the front to keep the nose down, but mostly to the side. Try to look under the boat and it will rotate right around you.
After learning flips.....personally I think they are easier, just take way more balls and spare motor mounts to learn. Wish I would've tried them earlier. All you need is a good head high wave and a half ass motor. The wave does most of the work for you anyhow.
