A flatwater day sounds fun, but usually when I get down there I can't pull myself away from the surf. Maybe Surf in the AM and flat water in the afternoon.

We normally show up at the beach, BS until 12-1 ish and then head to the lake....

Whats the address for the launch for that lake? We have 2 new motor that need alittle water time.

Its a cool lake, State Park with good ramps, bathroom, place to hang out...

For some reason that water felt waaay colder than the surf. Awesome to have a chance to ride some sick skis though. Thanks again to Tem and Brian and Lucas and Josh for last year.

maybe it's the gulf stream that travels around Miami and north up the eastcoast ? south of Daytona at Delray beach the gulf stream is aprox 2 miles off shore and the water is sometimes 76 degrees late into the Fall...

lake water gets way colder because it's a smaller body of water. And the natural flow of the atlantic on the east coast of florida goes from the south north.

The beach house Art stayed at last year seemed like the perfect party pad to me. Right next door to the Makai.
