For those of us that could not make it-it would be awesome for the people that rode all the new/different aftermarket hulls to post up a ride review of each hull they got to ride. I am guessing that this was the ONE time that ALL the new hulls were in one spot.

Yeah the kong hull looked good on the water with Daniel riding it...

I rode the new krash hull.... Very play full on the face of a wave, felt small which I like ... Hard for me to ride it like I would like with the 9ft pole... Footholds flex which is a simple fix, just add some glass and turf..

The new Q8 aerial was fun to ride, I rode the sky awhile back and couldn't ride it... The sky was at the top of my worst hull list... Rode a first gen q8 also today... Out of all the q8's the new aerial was the best... You can ride it and not work to just stay up, with some more time on it I could really get use to it... I loved the power the eme 1200 was pumping out, makes so much power it's hard to keep that q8 on the water, lol flips are so fun with 1200cc

Tricky's freak with the Dasa 1200 is spot on... Motor is a monster, I'm use to the hull... Was perfect IMO

How does the Kong compare to the Freak? I only ask because didnt Tem design it with Xmetal, Then go on his own? (please correct me if im wrong)

No, Tems designed hulls were only used the 1st year we were in business. (X-metal Carbon)
That was almost 4 years ago. Kong's are all new in house design and layup schedule, not even same molds or construction. Actually this is our 3rd new mold for the ones we are riding and building.

Unfortunately few peeps were able to ride the Kong Dominator hulls. I saw only a few riders on them and most of the time it was Stoyer or Pat on them and of course dude with this new KDX900 riding his own. They look and sound awesome but unfortunately that and the Lenzi are the 2 I didnt get a chance to ride.

Josh's reviews were spot on IMO, the Arial8 was definately an improvement over the previous EME products as far as handling. The Freak is still the best handling hull I have ever ridden. The Vision was, well, it felt like a shortened SJ hull to me. I think the improvements would maybe show more in surf then flatwater.
The Krash hull was different than anything I have ever ridden. Not bad but would definately change my ride style, felt short and wide at the front which was fun and crazy feeling all at the same time. It has some cool features.
XFS is what it is IMO, way nose light and heavy but when its semi plained out it carves nice.
The RoK to date is still my favorite hull NEXT TO THE SUPERFREAK but its what i am used to. Others rode the rok and claimed to have liked it.

My biggest regret is not riding a freakn Kong, just had no chance it seemed. They look awesome and sound great (especially the 1200.

Soon enough. And Tricky has a nice new shiney one he will have together soon enough. I will be at his door step as soon as he has it water ready LOL..
It was a great day fo sho, lots of talent and lots of bad azz skis

To soon have a Vision, thats sounds like a good thing to me. The superjet is the choice ski and to shorten it is even better. Then on top of that it has a nice rocker, will be allot lighter ,pole is forward and will have the best looks of all of them ..at least to me.
So hearing that and some of the other nice reviews, I am sure I made the right choice. This will be my first A/M hull, heck it will be the first A/M hull I have ever ridden!

Sucks I didn't make it to flat water friday. I'm looking to buy my first A/M hull but just can't make myself throw the $ down without riding something first. I carried a wallet stuffed with cash and a blank check around all weekend with plans of bringing an a/m hull home. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I couldn't get a ride on any of them. Maybe I should've attached the cash to my forehead. Vision looks awesome but wasn't coming off the stand. Tem's demo freak was broken by the time I tracked him down. I didn't see a Kong. I've been to 4 east coast events in the past year and still haven't seen a BOB2. I finally got to ride two carbon ROKs thanks to sjetrider. Which doesn't really do me any good because they're not available for purchase. Oh, go ahead and add me to the list of people who feel like a dumbass for not buying the black one when he had it for sale.
