i love daytona, in 1993 i drove 24 hours nonstop by my self to daytona froom toronto canada, i just put a ton of mods on 1993 550 i go straight to beach unload ski go for about half hour i leave my car with trailer to close to water, i come back my car is in 2 feet of water cost me 150 dollars to tow it out but it was still worth it, their was good surf

I went down in probably '92 from Charleston, SC with this chick I was 'dating', basically just drove down one evening, rode the next day, then went home. Surf was non-existent, maybe 1-2' rollers and glassy. It's weird, I don't remember where we stayed, don't remember how I got my ski in the water, but do remember the riding was crap.

this one time back in january of 07' i went to daytona and there was this big ass freeride on the beach it was awesome. i wonder if anything like that will happen again.
