I am taking my friend's ski. It is legally registered with valid reg numbers, but it is in his name. I have always reg. my own ski. Is it legal to register his ski? Are they going to hassle the crap out of me? Do i need a permission slip?

Last year i almost didn't get to ride and missed a day bc i got the pickiest water cop who made me show proof of HIN, which the ski didn't have since it was homeade. I ended up "Finding" the one the builder put on the hull behind the ebox. But it was a HUGE hassle.

please don't muddle this thread up w/ a bunch of BS. I want this to be clear folr people so they do not have to weed through 5 pages of inside jokes...

if you are not asking a question, then STFU

thanks... :)

still curious about my question.

Can i register and ride someone else's ski from MI. I am bringing down a friend's ski to ride. Are they going to hassle me thinking it is stolen?

It has been my experience down there that as long as you posses the proper documentation and equipment you will be fine. My buddy always gets there a day before us with our skis and he never has a problem pre-registering them. You should be fine.

I quickly scanned thru this thread, but I didn't see anything about fireworks.

Is the pyro-guy planning on doing fireworks this year? I hope so...we can't have no stuntbikemike and no fireworks-guy!!

sure, just have your tow rope hooked up and the other end in the air ready for someone to hook and go.....that's the way it is supposed to work.
