Heading to Daytona to ride the zone Fri, Sat, Sun. Who else is planning to ride?
Does anyone ever ride weekdays at the zone? I'm dying for some waves. Workin weekends.
Most of us work all week, but when the surf is extra good during the week sometimes there are a few who sneak away to ride. Sounds like JD will be riding this friday. How long are you in town?
depends on if you get the lifeguard version of barney fife. the zone is right there so you should at least be able to walk skis down on a tote. but its a crap shoot on whos making the decision and if they are needing to feel powerfulAnyone riding the zone Sunday ? Three of us Tampa guys will be there. Is the high tide in the morning a problem with access ? Hope small craft isn't issued because of this front.

Good info thanks, looks like the winds are a bit less at Sebastian Inlet so I guess we'll go there.Beach will definately be closed to driving at 9 when zone opens. High tide was very high yesterday, but like Scott said the zone is directly at the Dunlawton ramp so you can tote skis down to ride.

Small craft advisory starts at noon so they probably wont open the zone at all today but technically you should be able to ride from 9-12. Probably better just to go south on A1A from dunlawton to the ponce lighthouse and launch there instead. There are some protected spots to ride around the inlet since that North wind will be howling all day today.
