Decent deal?

I found a 99 superjet for 3200 near me. it has the 61x single carb motor however. is that too much to pay for the ski? it's pretty much stock other than footholds and turf...

That's higher than other deals being found right now but kinda depends on the ski.

I bought a silver 97 with an AC pole, turf and custom paint for $2200 last month. It was a bone stock 701.

Back in the summer I got a pristine 96 with a Riva Red Pipe, solas prop, enhancer ignition, boysen reeds, with cover and a bigfoot trailer for $2500.

Both excellent machines for the price. The 96 was a steal. That thing was/is mint.

It sucks for selling but skis are going cheap right now, but they are selling fast. Anything under $2500 is gone pretty quick.

Prices are all over the place lately, this year in our group we had a '96 with dual 44s, B pipe and intake grate bought for $1300, a '96 with a red pipe bought for $1750 and a '96 with a TNT chamber and all other bolt on goodies sold for around $2500.
It's only worth what you are willing to pay...if they are scarce in your area $3200 could be worth it.

I was going to say the same thing but I know where I was living last in Canada, I had the only skis in the area and people weren't really interested in them. I'd have to give them away to get rid of them.

I'm actually dragging my skis 4000 miles south with me so that I will have a better market to sell them in.

I got a 02 almost stock, very clean for $2K. $3k often buys you a ski pretty much dialed in, i.e. some of most of the following prop, intake grate, bars, bilge, pipe.

Offer $2500, go up to $2700, or wait unless there are no skis in your area.

I've seen that ski (salida) on craigslist for a long time. Firm at $3200? keep dreaming. He probably wants top dollar or else he'll just keep it. Wait, more will pop up. There was a number of fully built up RNs last season on NorCal craigslist for around $3K.

No location in post yet, but $2600 for a very clean newer RN. That's more like it.
