Congrats! There really are not tricks to putting one together, especially since it's already been together. I know with a front foothold, you will want to get the coupler in place before bolting in the motor. That's about it.

I just got one as well. I will watch your progress to see if I can gain any pointers. I am going to try and mount the e-box above the front foothold so we will see how that works.

I may have to go to the same way you did the carb side mount, but I am going to try above the front foot hold first so it is out of the way.

I tried making my own mounts to mount mine above the foothold, didn't work for me, you may try to lay it flat and mount it to the top of the foothold, I saw an aquabot that way I believe.

I know some guys have used WB2 ebox mounts also, I couldn't get mine over far enough to clear a B pipe, because of the roundness of the mounting surface.

I cobbled mine in above my foothold on the v2.
Definitely ghetto. Need either a custom flat box with no fuse cover to get in the way or the right type of mounts. Looking into something different over the winter.

I made my own brackets for my V2 to mount the box above the foothold. I don't think mine looks cobbled or ghetto at all. I can even take it out with the b-pipe in place. I don't have an engine pic but should be able to snap one in a few days.
