The entire engine bay is black. These pieces are dark purple. So they must be swishing around in the hollow tray then coming out of the hole( in the bulk head). There are 2 holes, 1 on each side of mid shaft, one opening is about 1 1/2" other 1". The 1" side has a versi plug, the other has no exit. Emailed Tony Tigercraft and he told me it must be 2 part foam breaking away when previous owner spilled some fuel in the hull, and i may want to seal off the holes in the bulk head.
So i could do that and/or add a second micro drain on the other side..

That's what it is. 2part foam. Had same thing happen on my ski after fuel spill.

Oliver, like I told you in the emails you have sent it appears to be poly foam that we use for flotation, since your hull has 2 holes in the bulkhead we did not drill. It must have gotten wet with fuel and small chunks are falling out from breaking down get a piece of screen or a faucet screen and cover the holes or seal them completely.

Yeah I started the thread before emailing. I'll seal it before Daytona, for now I'll add the micro drain under the tail pipe. So happy with the ski though. I'll be popping my back flip cherry before Daytona on it :)
Thanks for a great product Tony

If it has polystyrene foam in it then you should be just fine with putting screens on it. I recommended sealing it for better floatation in case the ski was swamped with water but that is irrelevant if it has foam.
